RHYTHM & BLUES FRONT GARDEN THEME

PLEASE CLICK IMAGES FOR LARGER DETAILED VIEW
I am happy to share a new petunia called Rhythm & Blues.  I decided to adopt them for the front of our home this summer and took these photos in June.  I have not taken additonal photos but I am happy to report that they have almost doubled in size so it was a great choice.  They are easy to maintain and don't seem to need as much dead-heading as some of the other petunias I have in other areas of our home gardens.  I have included some other photos of our front gardens as well.  If you did not see the photos I took of our deck and the back of our home, you can view them by scrolling back a wee bit.  I have added a few pieces of statuary as well, and was so pleased to include a pretty pale pink toned tree peony bloom that has finally decided to bloom this year.  I planted it about 3 years ago.  This is also a new rose that I am sharing.  I hope you enjoy viewing the flowers and gardens shown here.  Our Canadian winter snows will be here within the next three months or so and although I love the beauty of the snow-laden trees and lawns, I will indeed miss the lovely colors of summer. I would love to hear about your summer gardens as well. Hugs,Gayle.

Gayle, what gorgeous flowers. I can't imagine how big they are now. Love your garden. I can tell that you have spent many hours taking care of it.

Gosh girl I've missed you! What gorgeous flowers, so very pretty. Your garden means as much to you as it does me, you take very good care of her! I love the blue above your garage, and the lion! So glad you shared your creative inspiration with Sunday’s Best – your creativity helped make the party a success!
