HAND-CRAFTED BOX ART BY GAYLE

I am always drawn to buying or creating boxes...all types of boxes for trinkets, hats, and general use. I created this set of boxes from a set of paper mache boxes I purchased at Michaels. I have used a French theme, covering the boxes, inside and out, with pages from a vintage French book about art. I apologize for not taking photos of the insides of the boxes but I took care to make sure the inside was treated equally with the outside. I embellished the boxes with cotton lace in an ecru shade, the flowers are velvet with pearl centers. the gold embellishments were painted grunge and the black trim are transparencies that I created from stamped images. Hope you like them.

I am sharing my box art at the following link spots:

JEWELRY-DESIGNED AND CREATED WITH TURQUOISE

One of my favorite pastimes is designing and creating jewelry. I do a lot of wire-art design and enjoy creating all my own findings. These are two of my own designed sets and I hope you will enjoy them.

I may be found sharing with a number of these wonderful link parties.
