MEMORIES OF TEA TIME WITH MOM

This Sudlow's Burslem Lustre china teapot was made in England. It was one of my mother's teapots and she left it to me when she passed away in 1992. I know the teapot is over 50 years old. It has been serving tea in my mom's kitchen and mine for all those years. I created this tea cozy for it over 20 years ago...the fabric was also used for kitchen chair cushions that I created at that time. I no longer have that kitchen but I have the memories. I have added some tea tins that I have had for what seems forever....the tins have never been open.

I am sharing my tea treasures with:

Gayle, thank you for following my blog and commenting on the glass canisters. I'm your new follower now. Your tea post reminds me of my mother who passed away in 2008. Years ago she gave me a stainless steel tea strainer she had purchased in Switzerland. The strainer is similar to the one you show. Sweet memories.
