A BOOK OF L O V E

PLEASE CLICK ON IMAGE FOR LARGER VIEW

I love "Book Art". This type of art generally is quite time-consuming but very gratifying from a personal view. There are so many types of books and this is but one. I love these word books as it is a challenge to select and coordinate a large variety of papers in order to complete a book such as this. With 'word art" there is a lot of precision cutting and a lot of the fun is selecting images and various embellishments to use within the book itself. Book art is great to display as "table art" as well. You can create theme books very easily to satisfy your wish to enhance your style of home decor. Do you create books? What types of books do you enjoy creating? I would love to hear from you. I hope you enjoy this particular book of L O V E .

I AM SHARING THIS BOOK WITH:

* BEVERLY AT PINK SATURDAY
* MY 1929 CHARMER
* THINK PINK SUNDAY
* STRUT YOUR STUFF SUNDAY-J&M Eye Candy
* AMAZE ME MONDAY AT DITTLE DATTLE

Oh 0 how lovely! In my heart, I know I could create some nice pieces - but - where is the time to do such things anymore. I may only work three LONG days a week - but I spend the rest of the week prepping for those three days, and holding down the homestead with little time for crafting anymore. What a luxury to have the hours to spend in such a reverie . . .

Joy!

This is such a gorgeous book - I love the colors you chose. I love to do altered books, but I haven't really made one from scratch yet. I am collecting a few things to try my hand at a "junk-journal". I've seen them done, but never tried it. Happy Pink Sat.! I've become a follower! Thanks for your lovely comments on my blog! :)
Blessings,
Tricia

This book is totally gorgeous!!! Of course, since it's pink and green, I was drawn in immediately. They are, without question, my favorite colors (as a visit to my blog undoubtedly reveals.)

I love your "Love" book, Gayle! It's so pretty! I've never tried creating a book like this, but I think it's something I'd greatly enjoy doing. I used to keep "scrapbooks" when I was younger...and this is a more artistic take on those old-fashioned ones. Thanks for sharing.
