PINK SATURDAY - SHARING MY PINK PEONY

I love to garden, and especially love my flower gardens. As I watch the Oak trees in their Autumn splendor and the leaves falling in abundance, I take time to reflect on the summer's garden and know this has to be the best of two worlds. I have selected one of my "Pink Peonies" to share with you at Beverly's PINK SATURDAY.

WHITE WEDNESDAY - CLAIRE DE LUNE PEONY

I am joining in Kathleen's White Wednesday for the first time and sharing my beautiful white 'Claire De Lune' peony. I love that it is the first to bloom, of a number of different peonies I have in my Canadian flower gardens.

THE BRAMBLEBERRY COTTAGE-TIME TRAVEL THURSDAY

I am joining in Brambleberry Cottage's Time Travel Thursday today. We will soon be having our wee Halloween Trick or Treaters travelling from home to home. I have decorated this adorable little white tin with a candy corn motif and added coordinating fibers to the handle. Filling these tins with candy corn or another favorite sweet treat will surely bring joy to the faces of your special little 'trixters'.

CLAY-TOPPED GLASS COSMETIC JAR

I love jewelry and created this art piece to hold earings. I chose to use a glass cosmetic jar and created a clay topper for it. There are so many beautiful cosmetic containers available so it follows that they make perfect storage containers for buttons, pins, small gems, earings, etc. What ideas do you have for utilizing these containers in our artwork? Would love to hear your suggestions. Hugs, Gayle

ARTFUL AFFIRMATIONS - TEACUP TUESDAYS

Sharing one of many in my collection of tea cups. This is an "Adderley English Fine Bone China cup and saucer set".

THE THREE MUSES - BOTTLES OR JARS

I am in the midst of adding a new sister blog, as you may have noticed. It is in the infant stages but I hope you will stop by every once in awhile to watch it grow. My hope is to add crafty pieces such as this bottle art, that I created by stamping a transparency from I Brake for Stamps and embellishing the glass bottle. In addition I hope to add some book art, jewelry, clay and beeswax art, some quilt pieces, et al.
Thanks so much for helping me Christen the new blog. I hope you will support my new endeavour by joining my followers list here. I would really appreciate that. Hugs, Gayle.
